Offered concurrent with the Family & Caregiver Support Group
Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve a person’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The creative process also helps people to develop and manage their behaviors and feelings, reduces stress, and improves self-esteem and awareness. Each month there will be a different focus.
Facilitator
Shari Weiser, an artist and art therapy facilitator experienced in working with a variety of populations, including adults with special needs. Shari is passionate about helping individuals improve their abilities in order to better manage the challenges of daily life.
Cost
$15 per class, scholarships available.
