Shop for Schurig Summer Auction Graphic

START
Saturday, August 15 @ 9:00 AM PST

END
Monday, August 24 @ 12:00 PM PST

BID ONLINE AT
BiddingForGood.com/SchurigCenter

Your bid provides essential connection and care services for your fellow community members living with a brain injury

The cancellation of Schurig Center’s Annual BAM Gala is your gain! Many of the items that would have been available for bidding at the gala will be offered online instead for your bidding fun. We hope you enjoy bidding on them!

And, the best part is… With your auction purchase or Fund-A-Need donation, you provide the only place in our area picking up where the healthcare system leaves off to help people thrive after a brain injury.

Although we do not know what the coming days may hold, we do know that your generosity is the reason we are able to still provide services. Our programs are being offered in a new way, remotely, but the cost to provide them has not changed. And, with 70% of clients living on low income, we rely on community support to be able to offer care to all who need us.

If you are in a position to help, please bid as generously as you can and bid it to win it!

Thank You!

We hope you’ll join us in ensuring essential connection and care continues to be available for our neighbors living with brain injury, during and after this crisis.

#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. There are many ways to support healing at Schurig Center on #GivingTuesdayNow…

  • DONATE – We hope to raise $10,000 to support Schurig Center’s rehabilitative and supportive services that are being offered “virtually” for our neighbors living with brain injury during the COVID-19 crisis. To help us reach our goal, the first $5,000 will be matched by a very generous donor.
  • Host a Facebook fundraiser
  • If you know someone living with brain injury, connect with them for a virtual chat or see if they could use a helping hand right now.
  • If you know someone who is caregiving for a loved one with brain injury, check in with them to see if you can offer help to them in any way, like offering to pick up groceries for them or preparing a meal to drop off, or leave them a comforting gift on their doorstep.

Though we do not know what the coming days and weeks may hold, we do know your generosity powers what we do and has kept us going for 35 years.

Giving Tuesday Now LogoThis #GivingTuesdayNow, we also want to give back to YOU our incredible community of friends to say THANK YOU for being the heart of Schurig Center’s mission.

Your kindness, collaboration, and generosity has provided healing and connection for countless lives over Schurig Center’s 35 years of service to the community.

YOU are the heartbeat of our mission.
We are grateful!
