Kalynn Stewart, MS, CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Therapist
Kalynn is a licensed speech therapist specializing in stroke and brain injuries. She has worked in rehabilitation of individuals with complex neurological impairments in the hospital, outpatient and community setting for over 20 years. She has worked in private practice and with Schurig Center, consulting and teaching classes for many years. Kalynn’s discussion will include what speech therapy covers, how a speech therapist can be helpful for survivor’s continued rehabilitation in the short and long-term, and she will share her experience working with survivors and their loved ones.

The Brain Injury Caregiver Speaker Series is a monthly gathering dedicated to caregivers of people living with an acquired brain injury. Each session will feature guest speakers who are experts in a specific aspect of brain injury care, offering valuable insights and practical advice. Topics will vary each month and will cover areas such as medical care, emotional support, rehabilitation techniques, adaptive living strategies, nutrition, wellness, and more.
