California Resources
- California Department of Rehabilitation – Provides services to people with disabilities including vocational rehabilitation and an assistive technology loan program.
- California Caregiver Resource Centers – The 11 centers serve every county in the state and provide assessment, resources and services to family caregivers of people with brain injuries.
- Golden Gate Regional Center – An array of services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities in Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties. Individuals born with or who sustained a brain injury before the age of 18 are eligible for services.
- In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) – Provides homecare services to Medi-Cal eligible aged, blind or individuals with disabilities, including children, to assist them to in their homes with house cleaning, meal preparation, grocery shopping, laundry, and personal care services.
- Medi-Cal – Provides information about the Medi-Cal application process, benefits, eligibility criteria, and provider directory.
- Disability Rights California – Support for Californians with disabilities by providing litigation, investigations, legal representation, and advocacy, as well as information, advice, and referrals.
Multi-Service Community Resources
- Marin Center for Independent Living – Assists individuals with all types of disabilities to live independently by providing independent living skills classes, peer support, benefits navigation, housing assistance, and advocacy.
- Integrated Community Services – Offers employment services, living skills programs, mental health support, case management, social clubs, and other services for individuals with disabilities, including brain injury.
- Jewish Family & Children’s Services – An array of supportive programs, case management, financial assistance & navigation, and disability services for youth, adults, and seniors.
- Buckelew Programs – Helps people with behavioral health challenges lead healthier, more independent lives, strengthening families and communities in the process. Their services for adults and children in the North Bay includes supported housing and employment for people living with mental illness, family support, outpatient counseling, substance use treatment, outreach, education, and suicide prevention.
- Marin Community Clinics – Provides affordable medical, dental, and behavioral health care to uninsured and low-income residents of Marin County.
- Margaret Todd Senior Center – Offers enrichment and fitness courses, events, game/specialty groups, and outreach services to bring community together. [Novato]
- Vivalon – Provides transportation services, home-delivered meals, social groups, and classes/workshops for older adults and individuals with a disability. [San Rafael]

- Vivalon Rides – Specialized transportation and medical rides for seniors and individuals with mobility challenges. Serving Marin County and the greater Bay Area.
