Serving Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Santa Clara, San Francisco and Sonoma Counties. Bay Area Legal Aid’s attorneys and paralegals help people with civil legal problems, including housing, domestic violence, immigration, economic justice, health care, and youth justice. They do not assist with criminal matters. Bay Area Legal Aid provides legal services in the area of health care coverage and access, including: California Health Benefit Exchange, the Covered California Health Insurance Marketplace, the Affordable Care Act, Private Health Insurance, Medi-Cal and Denti-Cal, Medicare, Medical Debt, In-Home Supportive Services, Paratransit Services, Mental Health Services, County Indigent Programs.
