Berkeley Adult Day Health Care
Notes
Participants’ ages and medical needs vary — ranging from young and middle-aged adults with conditions such as head injury, stroke and Parkinson’s, to seniors with early stage dementia and Alzheimer’s. Program services include: rehabilitative and restorative therapies, nursing care, nutritional services, social services, recreational activities, transportation, and psychiatric and psychology services. Non-Alameda county residents considered on a case by case basis. Clients must be referred to the program by a physician and must be able to function in a day care environment.
